Annoyed Fresh Fairy
This little lady is quite frustrated by losing her freedom. But she is in a jar now and letting her out could be hazardous to your health. Best to just enjoy her beauty through the glass.
Her environment is specially tailored to her needs, including her favorite kind of moss for sleeping and holes for air. She can live happily (once she gets over being angry) in this jar for many years to come.
Pickled fairies are preserved carefully so as not to harm the fairy in any way. Because of the special preservatives used to save the fairy they can be expected to live in their jars for much longer than any fresh fairy would live. There is a drawback however, pickled fairies are in a trance like state and thus less entertaining to keep on your shelf.
This little guy was caught by accident when he flew into this jar to have a conversation with a cricket. A really long conversation apparently because he's been in there over twenty years and hasn't noticed a thing. We don't know how the cricket is still alive but can only assume the fairy's magic is prolonging his life.
This beautiful lady was a queen in her own land. Queens are rare since they rarely venture into the human world but it is said this fairy lost her betrothed prince and came here to look for him. She was caught in the Missouri forests and spends her days longing to find him. A fresh fairy in such a state would waste away before a hundred years had passed, but this beautiful queen is pickled and thus carefully preserved. She is guaranteed to keep her youthful glow for at least 250 more years. Store the bottle in a cool dry place.
This guy is comfortable in his new home but he still misses his original home. He spends his days playing forlorn tunes that remind him of days past. The glass is sound proof for your protection. Hearing one of his tunes can instantly hypnotize the listener to wander down lost fairy paths where they are never seen again.
